Check the progression gate first

In the documented run, the Second Floor Key objective appeared only after an earlier rescue/progression step was completed and the player returned to the Outpost. If the Key objective is absent, continue the active quest instead of searching random rooms for an item that may not be enabled yet.

Find the Second Floor Key

Once the Key objective is active, search the generated Deep Layers systematically and plan a safe extraction. The walkthrough and a current full-release playthrough both show the Key-gated objective, but neither supports one permanent room, layer number or route.
